Where Art and Nature Meet

Hand-Crafted and Home-Grown Trees from Malton, North Yorkshire
Every live tree is either grown by us or carefully selected from a reputable UK nursery, then monitored before being offered for sale. We never sell freshly repotted trees or trees that are still wired, and every bonsai includes a detailed, laminated care sheet written specifically for its species.
Whether you're buying your first bonsai or adding to an established collection, our aim is simple: to provide healthy, well-prepared trees and the practical knowledge to help them thrive for years to come.
If you'd love a tree but don't have the right conditions for a live bonsai, we also offer handcrafted wire trees that need no feeding or watering at all.
Wire Trees

Our wire trees are hand-crafted in Malton, North Yorkshire. We use fine copper wire and delicate seed beads to create stylised bonsai trees.
Framed Wire Trees
Each tree is a stylised miniature in a 10cm frame, inspired by the beauty of bonsai. Twisted copper wire forms branches and leaves, while carefully placed seed beads represent fruit, blossom, or berries. Designed to hang on walls or in windows, these decorative trees come in small, medium, and large. Every tree is hand-crafted and the bead colours can be chosen from our catalogue. A selection of trees can be viewed in our portfolio.
Potted Wire Trees
Rooted in genuine miniature bonsai pots (typically 4–4.5 cm wide and 2.5–3.5 cm tall), our potted wire trees are shaped in classic styles such as windswept, cascade, and twin trunk. Cascade trees are planted in taller, narrower pots to emphasise their graceful, trailing form. Each tree is hand-twisted from fine copper wire, with sculpted, layered wirework forming the canopy. Some are left bare to showcase their elegant structure, while others are adorned with beaded “fruit” for added colour and charm. These petite trees are perfect for desks, shelves, or gifting. A selection can be viewed in our portfolio.
Earring Trees
Earring trees are open-branched display pieces designed to hold earrings or simply stand as elegant décor. They are larger than our other trees, with graceful, bare limbs and a single bead at the tip of each branch for safety and style. These trees are unpotted and designed to rest securely on a flat surface. A selection can be viewed in our portfolio.
Live Trees
Our live trees are cared for here in Malton, North Yorkshire. Some are grown from locally sourced seed, while others are carefully selected from reputable nurseries.
We are also hoping to work with a local potter in the future, creating unique handmade bonsai pots while supporting fellow North Yorkshire craftspeople.
Trees in Nursery Pots (Pre-Bonsai)
We currently offer pre-bonsai Field Maple, Hornbeam and Small-leaved Lime.
Field Maple and Hornbeam are both native hedgerow trees, while Small-leaved Lime is commonly found in parks, gardens and lining streets. There are some lovely examples growing along Scarborough Road in Norton-on-Derwent.
To get the best from these young trees, allow them to grow freely during their first season. Once they have dropped their leaves, they can be pruned and shaped while much of their stored energy is in the roots, ready for the following year's growth.
All our trees include a laminated, double-sided A4 care sheet and we have additional information available on YouTube for Field Maple, Hornbeam and Small-leaved Lime.
Training Bonsai
We also offer young bonsai undergoing root training and gentle initial development, mainly Field Maple, Hornbeam and Small-leaved Lime.
As they become ready, more mature trees from our development benches will occasionally make their way to the market.
We never sell a tree immediately after repotting or while it is still wired, so regular visitors may enjoy watching certain trees develop before they eventually become available.
All our trees include a laminated, double-sided A4 care sheet.
Established Bonsai Trees
Our established bonsai are carefully selected from reputable nurseries and monitored before they are offered for sale.
Chinese Elm is currently the species most often available, although we may be able to source other species on request. Please don't hesitate to ask.
All our trees include a laminated, double-sided A4 care sheet.
