Dori began life as a cutting from Thorin, my Baggesen's Gold Honeysuckle. He was first styled and planted into this converted teacup as my entry for the Teacup Challenge in April 2026.

Humble beginnings
The first video featuring Dori, Thorin, Legolas and Bilbo Baggesen. Before they had names or a clear direction, this was the beginning of their bonsai journey.

Into the Teacup
Dori's first styling and planting into his converted teacup as my entry for the Teacup Challenge. The start of a new chapter for one very small Baggesen's Gold Honeysuckle.

First Rewiring
As Dori settled into his new home, it was time to refine the wiring and continue guiding his shape. Small changes now will influence his future development.
